On July 4th, Venue and Festival Managers who have graduated from the Audience Development Programme over the last two years joined this year’s class to enjoy a day of continued learning, including a session on dealing with the media.  In the afternoon, the class met Alistair Spalding, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of Sadler’s Wells and heard him being interviewed by Laurence Mackin, Irish Times. On May 15th we had our annual day at Google.  As always the Google volunteers delivered a series of fascinating talks on subjects such as ‘How to increase your web presence’ and ‘The Irish Digital Landscape’ as well as hearing from fellow Arts Organisations who have benefited from the individual Google mentoring.  The lucky 150 who were  able to attend were challenged, interested and engaged.  If you were unable to join us in 2014, there’s always next year.
