Marketing the Arts in Ireland 2014-2015 Final

Arts Audiences is delighted to publish “Marketing the Arts in Ireland” which is a companion report to The Arts in Irish Life – Full Report

A short online survey of arts organisations earlier in 2015 established what areas of media behaviour amongst attenders arts organisations were interested in and the contents of the report are based on that. Thank you to everyone for your responses. We have looked in detail at the online behaviour of arts attenders, and have focussed in this new report on frequent and occasional attenders and the differences in their media behaviour, as well as more traditional behaviours.

The report has been created to be of use to arts organisations and marketing professionals, in identifying trends in behaviour overall and at a practical level in planning marketing campaigns. We held a webinar on these reports on May 27th, and if you missed it you can watch it back here if you are interested in how to use the reports.

Also, the Arts Council commissioned these infographics, based on “The Arts in Irish Life” which you might want to download to your desktop, of some key facts from the report:

1. Participation (1) Attendance (1) Motivations 4. Attitudes
