We are delighted to publish The Arts in Irish Life, a significant report commissioned by Arts Audiences for the Arts Council from Kantar Media (UK) Ltd. Many of you may have seen the preview of this report at Focus on Audiences back in December. The report looks at different elements of engagement with the arts ; attendance at arts events, participation in artistic and creative activities, motivations around the arts, and overall attitudes. In addition to updating attendance information which is published each year, the report also updates some of the elements of The Public and the Arts, the groundbreaking 2006 study commissioned by the Arts Council.
